Grade 1 Students Learning to Finger-Track

Our Grade 1 students are learning to read!  One of the things we teaching them when they are learning to read is to finger-track the words like they are reading them. That means, they should touch under each word when they say the word. This really helps them learn the words they are reading, but also teaches them to make sure the words they read match the words they say. This is a very important lesson for young readers.
